International Activities of the City of Vienna

Priorities of cooperation between Vienna and Sofia are the topics parking space management, smart city, environmental engineering, culture and education. Furthermore there is a cooperation on district level between Vienna-Alsergrund and Sofia-Triadiza. One more interface is the mutual participation in the European Strategy for the Danube Region. After Sofia had joined the EU, Vienna organized a trainee program for experts from Sofia in the field of EU-funded projects.
